The short version

This is the single Webflow terms page on ToolProofs. It carries the May 2026 plan restructure (CMS and Business merged into Premium at $25/mo, a new $2,500/mo Team tier) from our 2026-09-12 two-state capture — formerly published as a separate terms check at /saas/webflow-review/, merged here on 2026-10-20 (one pricing intent, one URL) — and goes one level deeper on the question that check only touched: what happens on the bill when a Premium site outgrows its included bandwidth. The answer is a price ladder printed on the page — but only inside a collapsed FAQ accordion, which is why almost no third-party Webflow pricing guide reproduces it.

Re-checked on 2026-10-08 (yearly state, USD): the headline cards show zero drift from our 2026-09-12 capture — Starter free, Basic $15/mo billed yearly, Premium $25/mo billed yearly, Team $2,500/mo with annual contract required. Everything new here lives below the fold.

webflow.com/pricing captured 2026-09-12 in the default yearly state: Starter Free, Basic $15/mo, Premium $25/mo, Team $2,500/mo (annual contract required)

The same page after toggling to monthly billing (verified in-page: ‘billed monthly’ on every card, ‘billed yearly’ zero times): Basic $25/mo, Premium $39/mo

The plan ladder, both billing states (captured 2026-09-12, zero drift on the yearly state 2026-10-08)

Starter Basic Premium Team Enterprise
Yearly $0 $15/site/mo $25/site/mo $2,500/mo (annual contract) Custom
Monthly $0 $25/site/mo $39/site/mo not offered monthly Custom
Static pages 2 300 300 (higher) Custom
CMS limited none yes yes yes
Bandwidth 1 GB 10 GB 50 GB base, expandable to 2.5 TB on the card higher Custom

Three readings from the cards themselves:

  1. Basic has no CMS at all — the card says “For simple sites that don’t need a CMS.” If anything on your site is list-driven (blog, job board, directory), the real entry point is Premium.
  2. Premium starts at less base bandwidth than the Business plan it absorbed. Our own capture confirms the 50 GB base and the on-card tier list; 2026 migration trackers record the old Business plan at 100 GB (and, before an earlier adjustment, 400 GB) included — secondary records, so context rather than a verified number. The same trackers note the bandwidth cut as the most-cited complaint of the restructure.
  3. “Yearly (Save up to 40%)” is a ceiling, not a floor. From the page’s two states: Basic saves 40.0% yearly, Premium 35.9% — equivalently monthly costs +66.7% on Basic ($25 vs $15) and +56.0% on Premium ($39 vs $25). Do budget math on the monthly column, not the banner.

What changed in May 2026 (and why older bookmarks look wrong)

Per Webflow’s own “We’re Updating Our Pricing and Simplifying Our Plans” announcement (posted 2026-05-13):

Old plan (2024–May 2026) Fate New equivalent (yearly USD)
Basic ($14/mo) repriced, limits raised Basic $15/mo, static pages doubled to 300
CMS ($23/mo) merged into Premium Premium $25/mo
Business ($39/mo) merged into Premium Premium $25/mo — see the bandwidth note above
Enterprise Lite replaced by Platform plans Team $2,500/mo / Enterprise quote

Migration timing matters for existing customers: new sites got the new plans immediately; existing sites move at their first renewal or billable change on or after June 29, 2026 (Freelancer/Agency workspaces: on or after November 16, 2026). Student discounts were deprecated in that round, with existing plans transitioning at first renewal. The practical consequence for anyone reading this page: articles still teaching the four-tier Basic/CMS/Business model are describing a page that no longer exists.

Ecommerce and the platform tier

  • Ecommerce plans (add to a site plan, yearly state, captured 2026-09-12; the ecommerce cards did not re-render in our monthly toggle, so no monthly figures are reported): Standard $29/mo (500 items, 2% transaction fee), Plus $74/mo (5,000 items, 0% fee, unbranded emails), Advanced $212/mo (15,000 items, 0% fee).
  • Team is $2,500/mo with “Annual contract required” printed verbatim on the card in place of a billing toggle, bundling publishing workflows, site activity log & API, foundational governance, enhanced security & compliance, Localize and priority support on top of Premium. Enterprise is “Talk to us” with no public number. If you need those features, the floor for a deal is now $30,000/year.

The bandwidth ladder nobody screenshots

Expanding the FAQ item “What Premium plan add-ons are available?” renders this table into the page’s text layer (captured 2026-10-08, both billing states printed for each step):

Extra bandwidth Billed annually (per month) Billed monthly (per month)
+50 GB +$20 +$30
+100 GB +$40 +$60
+150 GB +$60 +$90
+250 GB +$100 +$150
+350 GB +$140 +$210
+450 GB +$174 +$260
+700 GB +$274 +$410
+950 GB +$374 +$560
+1.450 TB +$574 +$860
+1.950 TB +$774 +$1,160
+2.450 TB +$974 +$1,460

Three structural readings, all from the page’s own numbers:

  • The first step is 80% of the base plan. A Premium site at $25/mo paying +$20/mo for 50 extra GB is effectively at $45 — traffic, not features, is where the cost of a small site scales.
  • The top of the ladder is plan-level money. +2.45 TB costs $974/mo annually — 39x the Premium base on its own. Past roughly +1.45 TB the add-on bill ($574/mo) exceeds 22x the plan it bolts onto, and total spend creeps toward tiers (Team at $2,500/mo) that at least bundle governance features the add-on does not.
  • Monthly billing carries a flat ~50% premium on every rung — by our division of each printed pair: +49.4% to +50.0% across all eleven steps, i.e. annual saves a uniform ~33.3%. That is a flat rule for bandwidth, unlike the site cards, whose monthly gaps we measured at +56% (Premium $25→$39) and +66.7% (Basic $15→$25) in the 2026-09-12 two-state capture. The page toggle advertises “Yearly (Save up to 40%)”; the ladder’s own uniform saving is 33.3%, so the “up to” is earned by the cards, not the bandwidth rows.

The other metered bills on the same page

Bandwidth is not the only usage-priced line. Captured in the same session:

  • Add-ons (per site): Optimize from $299/mo (metered by page views, up to 5 concurrent optimizations), Analyze from $9/mo (metered by sessions), Localize Essential from $9/mo (up to 3 locales) and Advanced from $29/mo (up to 10 locales). These stack on top of any site plan — and A/B testing is not included in any site plan, so a content-marketing site doing A/B tests on Premium lands at $25 + $299 = $324/mo, not $25. That is the single biggest sticker-price vs real-price gap on the page.
  • Webflow Cloud (usage): $2 per million requests and $2 per 5 hours of CPU usage, with web-app bandwidth “pooled with site bandwidth.” A dynamic app hosted on the same plan draws from the same bandwidth pool that carries the ladder above.

Contract truth from the FAQ

Two FAQ answers that matter for agency budgets, printed verbatim on the 2026-10-08 page:

  • Cancellation: “Can I cancel my Site and/or Workspace at any time? — Yes, but you’ll still pay the remainder of the term for the plan you signed up for.” Monthly-cancelable language does not mean unused-year refunds; on annual billing the remainder is owed.
  • Platform plans: “A Platform plan bundles a site, Workspace, add-ons, and more” — i.e. the Team/Enterprise tiers are priced as bundles, so the ladder above is specifically the site-plan scaling path.

What we did and did not verify

  • Verified twice, same day: a scripted browser session (en-US, New York timezone, USD) and an independent cloud fetch both rendered the plan prices and the FAQ ladder text; the three screenshots above were taken after DOM assertions that the anchor text was visible in the viewport at capture time. Zero drift against 2026-09-12 on every headline price we share.
  • Not re-verified this pass: the monthly site-card state. In the 2026-10-08 session the Monthly toggle did not flip under automation, so the $25 Basic / $39 Premium monthly figures cited here carry over from our 2026-09-12 two-state capture (screenshotted then), not today. The bandwidth ladder’s monthly column is printed today — but as hidden FAQ text, same DOM, whether or not the card toggle worked.
  • Not logged in, not paid. This is a terms check of the public pricing page; checkout totals, taxes (“plus applicable taxes added at checkout” is printed on the page) and workspace billing behavior are not exercised.
  • Prices move: treat the ladder as verified 2026-10-08 and re-check before quoting a client.

Verdict (terms-level, no score)

We have not built a site on Webflow, so no star rating is published here. What the terms support: the restructure genuinely simplified the ladder — three site tiers, a clear “no CMS on Basic” boundary, and Premium at $25 undercutting both plans it replaced — and the yearly-vs-monthly math is unusually honest now that both states render in-page. The watch-outs: Premium’s base bandwidth is smaller than the Business plan it absorbed, A/B testing is a $299/mo add-on rather than a plan feature, and bandwidth scaling is a hidden ladder that can cost more than the plan itself.
